I jogged today 8/15/2012

on my own and it was only 2.89 miles. When I jog with a partner I do 4 miles and feel like I can do more. 

On the flip side, I noticed that at least I am doing 10 minute miles. SO that cheered me up a bit. 

I need a partner….WHO WANTS TO BE MY JOGGING PARTNER!!!!

Light workout

It’s been a bit unfortunately. I jogged today 3.2 miles. I need to get to 4 miles none stop jogging. And I hit the gym and worked mostly on chest and triceps. 

Food wise:

Breakfast: Waffle and 1/2 muscle milk (banana flavor)

Lunch: Sushi (Dynomite Roll, Mango Mexican Roll)

Dinner: Muscle milk (banana flavor)

I usually eat more, but I didn’t have that much time. I don’t starve myself. But I don’t eat as much as before, my stomach has shrunk, so that’s good. But I want to make it clear, I am not starving myself. 

Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to do more than today. I still looking for a partner in LA (LA fitness membership preferred). 

Alright LA, I need a partner

I need a fitness partner here in Los Angeles CA or surrounding areas (Hollywood, the Valley, Burbank, Glendale, NoHo, etc). I hate working out alone, and I do 2 as much when I work out with someone. So, anyone, male or female, 18-25, want to team up and jog together 6 times a week and hit the gym (LAfitness) 5 times a week? 

This is 7/12 update

Since I wasn’t able to do it last night. 

So, yesterday I ate some pistachios for break fast, then I headed over for a last minute gig I got in the morning. I got out by lunch where I went out with an old classmate to eat sushi at crazy rockin sushi. I ate 3 rolls… So I took the healthyness part and destroyed it by eating a lot, but it was so good…. Need to learn to control myself. After that I napped a bit, and then I went for a jog with the same classmate. I need to build more resistance, but since he hasn’t worked out in a while, I lasted longer, so I was able to compare myself through him how I was 10 days ago. I think I am doing well, or serems like it. I still dont see any physical changes. then I ate an avocado for dinner while watching glee. 

No pictures of yesterday, but I will work out tonight and post pictures of progression.

Here are some pics after my work out today. I don’t know how usually people take these, I just used my iphone and took a frontal and side one. 

Workout:

15 minutes of jogging. I ran around the block. The block is kinda like a rectangle, and I jogged 2 of the short sides and one long one, walked a short one and then jogged a long side and a short side (Hope that all made some sense lol). 

When I got back home, I did did about 2 minutes of a song stretching, then I did a 3minute song of squats, 3 minute song of crunches, 5 minute song of arms. And then I have small weight things (sorry, my english sucks at times) total of 10 pounds each, and did a full song playing around with those. 

Food:

Today I woke up and ate… a hot pocket, terrible I know, will try and avoid that, but I was late to give my roommate a ride to an audition. For lunch we went to a local sushi place. We split some teriyaki chicken, and 3 rolls ( i forgot to take pictures of it, I always forget to take pictures of sushi because I love it too much and eat it right away lol). After that, went home, chilled, watch some True blood, ate some pistachios because I was hungry. Then I worked out around 8, and after everything I cooked some pasta with drum sticks

I’ve been working out for 10 days now, on and off. I’m still new, need to build a lot of resistance still and build some muscle. It might take me a while, but I am determined. 

First post!

Hey everyone, 

As I said before, the purpose of this blog is more of a logging of my progression and also as a motivation to keep working out. I also hope that people may find this blog help full, or also as a way to share their own stories, experiences, advice, and questions to share with others. 

A little about me:

I currently reside in Los Angeles CA. I just moved here from Orlando after graduating from film school. I’ve been here for 5 months. I’m a male 24 year old latino. I am tall 6’2” and I currently weight about 195-200lb. 

The reason why I have decided to try and get the body that I want is because for years I’ve been wanting to work on that, but never did. I would argue that I wouldn’t care enough about it, but since I moved to LA I have decided to try and renew everything in my life.

So here we are. Tonight I will work out a bit, jog, crunches, work a little on my arms. So at the end of the day I will post the first official picture of my body (I apologize before hand since it wont be that nice of a body lol), and I will also post some pictures of what I ate today. This will all come together on my daily post of my day.

This blog is dedicated to help me get the body I want. It's ment as a support and a way to help me motivate me into working out, eating healthier. I will be postings pictures of my progress, foods that I eat, and I will also be trying to write daily the events of the day that are related to my losing weight.
